  • This year, like last, we're encouraging everyone (us too) to truly take a moment to Pause | Reflect | Recharge. 🙌 Celebrate those goals you achieved and take stock of those you didn't. 🔮 Reflect on any lessons you have learned in the past year and decide what you want to take with you into the new year. 🔌 And take a break from work to recharge - everything works better if you unplug it for a while including us. #TakeABreak #Pause #Reflect #Recharge #Unplug

  • Can you learn from non-traditional sources? We say absolutely! Today's out-of-the-traditional-box Leadership tips are inspired by the school playground and the wrapping up of the school year. We're reflecting on what should and shouldn't be then taken into the business world. There's no place for bullies - It should go without saying but there is no place for bullies as Leaders, and they should also not be tolerated within the team. #EveryoneMatters and everyone should have the right to a workplace free from bullying Friendships - These should be both encouraged and valued in the workplace especially with some suggesting loneliness may be the new epidemic. Friendships and a sense of community also have positive benefits for your people’s health (all types) and job satisfaction. Fun - Fun should not be left in childhood but instead continued into adulthood. Work and fun should not be seen as mutually exclusive, but rather fun should be applauded for the benefits it provides such as increased engagement, higher levels of well-being and improving collaboration. What leadership tips are you using that may have been inspired by non-traditional sources? Let us know in the comments below 👇 #PeopleLeaders #Leadership #Tips #AlwaysLearning #School

  • Asking the right questions sparks the potential for valuable feedback that companies need. It starts with giving employees the opportunity to shed light on what they truly experience in their job and further uncovering them as people, not roles. When people feel fulfilled, and most importantly connected to their jobs, there's a deeper sense of pride, purpose and loyalty that comes to the surface.⠀ Our surveys ask carefully curated questions and have high participation rates leading to better outcomes that can be acted on. In our experience, whether it’s clothing or almost anything else, “one size fits all” rarely delivers on its promise. The workplace is no different. Since workplaces are made up of people—not robots—this should come as no surprise. Leaders need to understand the key human behaviours, drivers, goals, values, and potential of their employees. Providing HR leaders with straightforward, digital, and commercially viable tools is essential for succeeding in today’s evolving landscape. When you truly understand your people—their feelings, challenges, and where improvements can be made—you can take targeted steps to shape policies and processes that empower both your people and your organisation to thrive. • When are strengths not strengths? At Humanico, we know that when a company shares a common language rooted in positive psychology—especially one focused on strengths—big things are possible. Understanding both our own strengths and those of our colleagues can unlock fulfillment for individuals and drive successful, cohesive teams. But strengths come with a caveat: they need balance. Imagine a team member known for their high level of responsibility. While this is a powerful trait, without boundaries, they might start taking on the weight of the entire team’s outcomes, leading to potential burnout. However, with this understanding and clear agreements in place, that person can channel their sense of responsibility in meaningful ways, staying effective and energised. Curious about how a shared language around strengths can transform your team? Book a free demo with us today ➝ https://buff.ly/3W4DczC #PlayToYourStrengths #CommonLanguage #PositivePsychology #OptimiseYourWorkforce #Burnout
