As part of our giving in 2024, we launched our first-ever Staff Giving Initiative, where some of our longest-serving team members were given $100K each to donate to a charity of their choice. To showcase how our staff allocated their donations, we've compiled a series of videos exploring their thought processes, approaches and outcomes. 💖 Jenny Chung - hosted the biggest ever Giving Game (in collaboration with Giving What We Can & Luke K. Freeman🔸) and split her donation between GiveDirectly, Malaria Consortium and Effective Ventures. 💖 Brendon Kellett - reflected on the importance of relationships in his life, spoke to his loved ones to guide his decision, and gave to an Indigenous children's charity Children's Ground. 💖 Sam Adams-Nye - took an evidence-based approach and donated to The Life You Can Save, to maximise his impact and support effective charities like The Fred Hollows Foundation. It's been thought-provoking and heart-opening to see the different and unique approaches, and the beautiful discussions and conversations that have sparked across Humanitix and beyond. We hope this inspires other organisations to engage their staff in the many good deeds they are capable of around the world. #ticketsforgoodnotgreed #humanitix #impactreport #impactmilestone #socialimpact #donations #socialenterprise #nonprofit #techforgood #staffgiving #compassionatecapitalism #staffengagement #charity

Who are Australia's largest corporate givers? The top 50 corporate givers in Australia contributed close to $1.5 billion to the nation’s community in 2023, thanks to large donations from companies like BHP, Coles Group, Rio Tinto and Woolworths Group. But the data also tells another story: that companies in the private sector, like Atlassian, Canva and Who Gives A Crap, are building philanthropy into their brand’s value proposition. 📌 FULL REPORT: https://lnkd.in/gDHYGWG4
