To celebrate International Day of Women and Girls in STEM we wanted to celebrate our own Caitlin Ringuet. Since graduating from James Cook University with a science degree majoring in aquaculture, Caitlin then joined our team as a planning officer and since then has progressed onto her current role as Planning Manager. With the input of her equally impressive team, Caitlin supports the sustainability of our business through their delivery of long-term biological and operational forecasting. When asked about her advice for other women and girls in STEM Caitlin said, ‘I'm excited about where aquaculture is in particular and I love seeing the women coming through and being supported, engaged and heard. My advice is to always be curious, always be learning, and don't feel like you have to hold yourself back.' Today and everyday we celebrate the women of Huon.
