🚢 In 2018, the construction of the world-first FRP Wharf at Pinkenba for Wagners marked a milestone in innovative infrastructure. Now handling up to five Handymax vessels per month, the wharf continues to showcase the durability and resilience of its design. 🔍 Recent maintenance inspections of the Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) and Earth-Friendly Concrete (EFC) structure have been highly successful, underscoring the effectiveness of these materials in a demanding marine environment. 🌿 The use of EFC and FRP materials helped cut the project’s carbon footprint by over 1,300 tonnes of CO₂ compared to traditional steel and concrete designs, providing added resistance to acids, chlorides, and sulphates. Movember aims to raise awareness and promote action around men's health issues, specifically focusing on three main areas: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health, including suicide prevention. The campaign encourages men to get involved in discussions about health, prioritise regular check-ups, and adopt healthier lifestyles with the aim of ultimately reducing the number of preventable deaths.
