Yesterday our union visited Concordia Lutheran College, Toowoomba to officially present our 2024 TUH Health Fund Future of Teaching Bursary recipient Jamie Pukallus with his award. The award is designed to support and encourage educators who deliver innovative solutions to benefit their careers and their wider communities. Jamie plans to use the $5000 funds to undertake further tertiary study, so he can create a suite of digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI) resources to reduce teacher workload and deliver improved and authentic personalised learning for students. Please join us in congratulating Jamie 👏
Bursary Recognition We are proud to share that Jamie Pukallus, our Director of the Senior Campus, has received the "TUH Future of Teaching Bursary." This bursary, established by the Independent Education Union Queensland, aims to empower educators to foster community growth and educational innovation. Thank you to Mr Terry Burke from IEU Queensland for visiting the College to present the bursary. Jamie will use this opportunity to research and develop resources focused on AI technologies and digital tools to reduce teacher workload and improve personalised student learning. This initiative aligns with Concordia's commitment to excellence and innovation in education. Congratulations, Jamie, on this well-deserved recognition! We look forward to the positive changes this will bring to our educational community. #FindYourFit #EducationalInnovation #Leadership Independent Education Union - Queensland and Northern Territory (IEU-QNT)
