Creating a circular economy for hybrid and EV batteries
About us
We're creating a circular economy for hybrid and electric vehicle batteries. Our vision is simple. Electric vehicles and battery storage are at the centre of the world meeting its climate targets. But the environmental impact of battery production and disposal is costly. Infinitev, supported by our cutting edge R&D, is building the capability to ensure this environmental impact is minimised. We want to see a world where an EV battery is borrowed by multiple users along its life. Reused, repurposed and recycle infinitely.

GREEN SWAP As part of National Recycling Week, infinitev hosted our very own Green Swap to embrace the 3Rs (Reuse, Reduce, Recycle) and highlight the importance of giving items a second life. National Recycling Week is all about encouraging smarter resource management and reducing waste—and what better way to do that than by swapping pre-loved treasures with colleagues? Our team came together to exchange pre-loved treasures, breathe new life into items we no longer use, and show how small actions can contribute to a more sustainable future. Just as our team at Infinitev works to give xEV batteries a second life, this event showcased how we can extend the life of everyday items and contribute to a circular economy. 🌍✨ A big thank you to everyone who participated! It’s inspiring to see our values of #sustainability, #innovation, and #community in action, and we loved seeing the enthusiasm (and unique swaps!) from the team. #NationalRecyclingWeek #CircularEconomy #SustainabilityInAction #TeamInfinitev 🌿🚀

It's National Recycling Week ♻️ Recycling is a critical part of the #CircularEconomy. And let's also explore how we extend the life of #EV #batteries before we put them in the shredder. 🔋 Image first seen here: https://lnkd.in/gwSuVZDk

We launched the Infinitev brand two short years ago, and to celebrate our birthday in true nerd fashion we've published a white paper.^ "The future of transportation is electric, but without #sustainable battery practices, the #EV sector risks undermining its climate promise. Infinitev’s approach addresses this challenge head-on. By integrating #remanufacturing, #repurposing, and #recycling processes, the company provides a holistic solution that maximises resource efficiency, reduces emissions, and supports the #CircularEconomy." ^ We also ate doughnuts, circles all the way... 🤗 https://lnkd.in/gmZ9BSHG

infinitev has made a landmark achievement in Australia’s automotive industry by being awarded the country’s first-ever NTRO - National Transport Research Organisation certification for the reuse of Hybrid Battery Electric Vehicle (HBEV) batteries. This certification positions Infinitev as a pioneer in the battery remanufacturing space, setting a new benchmark for industry standards and highlighting their leadership in driving sustainable practices within the automotive sector. Congratulations Dickson Leow and team. Read more about this amazing achievement on our website - https://lnkd.in/g46A5nwe

Powering Australia Industry Growth Centre (PAIGC) supports Australian businesses in developing and adopting new renewable technologies, including batteries. Our #CircularEconomy for #EV #Batteries could form an important part of this future 🔋 ♻
infinitev are creating a circular economy for hybrid and electric vehicle batteries. Supported by cutting edge R&D, and partnering with EV OEMs, Infinitev are repairing, remanufacturing or refurbishing hybrid and EV batteries for reuse, repurposing EV batteries that can’t be reused into stationary energy storage, and recycling batteries that are unable to be reused or repurposed. The University of Melbourne conducted a cradle-to-gate LCA study, evaluating a range of environmental impacts including carbon emissions and resource depletion. The results demonstrated that infinitev's remanufacturing process slashes CO2 equivalent emissions per hybrid drive battery by 96% compared to buying new batteries. Thanks to Dickson Leow for hosting the Powering Australia Victorian team. #poweringaustralia #circulareconomy #batteryenergystorage #cleantechmanufacturing
