500kV project video is live now! Infravision's purpose built networked puller tensioner system, drones and pilots played a pivotal role stringing 3 x 500kV transmission lines as part of BC Hydro's $10+ billion Site C hydroelectric project in British Colombia, Canada. Watch the video to see how Infravision seamlessly integrated with the BC Hydro line crews to string with precision and efficiency while reducing disruption to concurrent work activities, and enhancing overall safety. We are extremely proud to be part of a project that will power millions of households in the decades to come. 🚀 Got questions or want to deploy safer and scalable power line construction methods like those in the video, reach out to our VP Strategy and Partnerships David Preston. #innovation #dronepower #energytransition #transmission Clinton Mowbray Rod Russell

Infravision at work drone stringing in extreme conditions: 5℉, 20 mph winds (-15 C / 32 kph) - just another winter day in Canada. Solving many of a transmission linesman biggest challenges: ✓ Stringing in a congested, energized corridor ✓ Major (6-lane) road crossing, with less than a 3-minute shutdown ✓ Canyon crossing ✓ River crossing ✓ Outage constraints Proud of our skilled group of professionals completing this project with ease!

Rewiring the mining sector in Queensland ⛏️ ⚡ Project Video 📽️ Infravision is proud to have collaborated with Yurika to deliver safer, faster, and more efficient powerline construction at an operational mine in Queenland using our drone stringing TX system. Facing steep, rocky terrain and concurrent deconfliction with mining operations, our team worked hand-in-hand with Yurika to successfully string multi span runs of conductor with the TX System. Once the conductor was in the air safety markers were also installed with the same team and platform. The result? A safer process that saved time, reduced disruption to the operation of the mine, and reduced environmental impact to the area. Big shoutout to Yurika's Project Manager, Mitch Turner, and Manager Field Services Lines Travis Jacklin for a smooth integration of the operational teams from both companies and for the initiative to bring these construction techniques to the mining sector. Together, we’re transforming how power lines are built. Building powerline infrastructure at an operational mine site was made easier with innovative new drone technology by Infravision. With the pulling capability of a traditional helicopter stringing process, drone powerline stringing is safer, faster, more efficient and has fewer environmental impacts. #Yurika Project Manager, Mitch Turner was excited to find the first use of drone stringing saved time and labour and was a safe and unobtrusive process that overcame steep, rocky terrain. “We pride ourselves on innovation and doing what we can to make the work we do safer for everyone. “We used the drones to string 12 long spans of overhead conductor and attach line safety markers - it was an absolute game-changer,” he said.
