INTERSPORT Australia is part of the world's largest sporting retail group. INTERSPORT Australia commenced trading on July 1st 2014 with 37 stores and has already grown to over 70. All of our stores are locally owned and operated, which allows our members to be highly invested in grassroots and community sports. INTERSPORT started in Europe in 1968 when 10 national sporting retailers came together. Their ultimate goal was to create an international sporting retail brand that gives customers a great retail experience and access to the world’s best sporting brands. INTERSPORT globally has now grown to over 5,500 stores in 45 countries. At INTERSPORT Australia, we are committed to offering our customers the best products from the best brands at the best prices. We are the experts, always ready to help our customers select the perfect pair of shoes, find the right apparel and choose the equipment that best meets your individual needs.   • INTERSPORT Australia is thrilled to announce the opening of our latest 2.0 concept store in the Barossa Valley, in partnership with The Barossa Co-op. This new location fully embodies the INTERSPORT Group 2.0 global design. Thanks to the hard work of the Barossa Co-Op team, this store is ready to serve the community as "The Heart of Sport" in the region. Customers can enjoy the full omni channel experience with the convenience of shopping online and using click-and-collect services, just in time for the Christmas season! Driven by our group-wide entrepreneurial spirit, we will continue with our strategy to implement further store refurbishments enhancing the customer experience in pursuit of being the best sports specialty retailer in our local communities.   • INTERSPORT Australia has been recognised on the global stage, recently receiving the Omnichannel Customer Experience Award at the global 2024 INTERSPORT Group Leadership Summit. 🏅   Through 18 months of hard work from our team, Australia was the first INTERSPORT country to go live with a new universal website design system, while also re-platforming to the group’s eCommerce platform in Shopify Plus.   Head of Marketing and Digital Ben Wapling and General Manager Sean Smith attended the INTERSPORT Leadership Summit and accepted the award on the group’s behalf, with Ben presenting our fantastic results achieved with the new platform on the international stage.   It’s a huge achievement for the INTERSPORT Australia brand and wider team who have been instrumental in bringing the new omnichannel customer experience to life and leading the way for INTERSPORT! #TheHeartOfSport
