The Nangma Valley in Pakistan and Intrepid Travel's new trekking expedition have landed on The New York Times annual 52 Places to Go for 2025. Spending time in the Karakoram Mountains this past summer was an absolute highlight of my travel career. What a year it has been for The Intrepid Foundation and our generous global community!  Thank you to our Intrepid Travel travellers, our industry friends, Intrepid staff and most importantly, our local NGO partners who have created positive impact all over the globe in 2024.  We could not do what we do without you and we’re looking forward to seeing what you can achieve in 2025.   

We’re out of office!      After a year of incredible #OnlyIntrepid moments, we’re taking some time to recharge and gear up for a big 2025. We’re also reflecting on some milestones from the year:      🌎 Launched over 50 new trips    👣 Raised over $2 million for 50 Intrepid Foundation partners  😃 Achieved our highest ever eNPS and NPS scores    📖 Released our first book, the Intrepid List  📈 Recorded our best financial results     But the real highlight? All of our Intrepid people! From joking with new friends on a game drive in Kenya to finding inspiration from Indigenous Maasai women in Kenya, together we've delivered on our mission to create positive change through the joy of travel.      Thanks to everyone who joined us for another year of connection, curiosity and conscious travel.      Happy holidays and see you in the new year! ❤️ 

In this season of giving, we're taking some time to thank our travelling community for their extraordinary generosity in 2024. From connecting with and supporting our local partners and communities in destinations around the world, to rallying behind emergency appeals in Vietnam and Spain, our travellers have shown incredible care and connection to the causes they care about. And we’re proud to share the Intrepid Foundation has raised more than $2 million for its 50+ community partners. Together, we've made a real impact ❤️ Thank you!

Last Friday, I was exceptionally proud to share with our team in Melbourne’s Head Office that we are on track to achieve Intrepid Travel's strongest results in our 35-year history and deliver all five of our ambitious company goals in 2024.   After a record-breaking month of $80M in bookings in November, we are set to exceed $630m in revenue.    Meanwhile, I’m delighted to say our people are more engaged and prouder to work for Intrepid, and we’ve achieved an eNPS of 64, a new record versus 58 in 2023.     Our strategic aspiration for 2030 is to connect more communities and more people in more ways, and this year we’ve carried more customers than ever. At the same time, we’ve delivered a record NPS, tracking at 82, up 6-points on our previous best in 2023.     We will also announce our recertified B Corp score early in the new year and expect a significant improvement on 2021, delivering on our mission to create positive change through the joy of travel.   Profit is the output of what we do, not the purpose, but it enables us to create greater impact and we are on track to exceed our ambitious EBITDA target of $37m.     Our final audited results will be released in our 2024 Integrated Annual Report, which will be published in March.   As I get set to head to the UK for Christmas with my family, I want to extend a massive thank you to all our stakeholders - team members, leaders, shareholders, communities, industry partners and customers - who have helped Intrepid deliver on our goals and achieve a record year of growth and impact.    #MoreIntrepidPeople
