Jackson McDonald has launched the firm's third Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan for 2024-2026, marking a significant step forward in our commitment to meaningful reconciliation. This event provided staff and special guests with the opportunity to learn about the goals, initiatives and actions we will be focusing on over the next two years to support reconciliation. A heartfelt thank you to James T Webb and the Wadumbah Aboriginal Dance Group for their powerful Welcome to Country and vibrant dance celebration, and to Francine Bayet from Reconciliation WA for her moving words on the importance of truth-telling and striving for a better future for all. We were also honoured to hear from Kevin Wilson, the Wongutha artist behind the bold design elements in our RAP, who spoke about the design symbolising the ongoing journey of reconciliation and the coming together of First Nations peoples within our modern communities. Staff and guests enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea provided by All Good Grub Bushtukka Catering, as they engaged in meaningful conversations sparked by Yarning Cards developed by our Reconciliation Working Group. 🎥 by Terrace Loft
