Yesterday, Janellis hosted the Sydney CBD Emergency Management Forum with our partners Dexus and the Property Council of Australia to discuss the Sydney CBD Safety Sub-Plan and the role of business leaders in being prepared for an emergency that would require a ‘significant and coordinated response’. The forum included a panel from NSW Police, NSW Ambulance, NSW Police Media, Fire and Rescue NSW, Transport for NSW, City of Sydney and Dexus. Participating organisations included Alinta, ASX, Ausgrid, Australia Post, Charter Hall, Colonial First State, Commonwealth Bank, IAG, JLL, Macquarie, nbn Australia, NSW Telco Authority, QBE, Stockland, Sydney Water, Telstra, University of Sydney, Ventia and Westpac. A second Emergency Management Forum is scheduled for July 2024 and organisations can register their interest at www.cbdresponse.com.au
