Sorrento Ferry Terminal Update.
Exciting progress at the Sorrento Ferry Terminal!
The first-floor formwork is ready for the slab pour, marking a key milestone in the terminal’s transformation. This level will feature a wraparound balcony where passengers can relax, enjoy a drink, and soak in stunning views of Port Phillip Bay.
The central column for the stairway and lift shaft is taking shape, ensuring seamless access between levels. Piles are in place for the gangway, connecting the terminal to the ferries.
A huge thank you to Maben Group Pty Ltd and the entire onsite team for their hard work on this complex build over the water. Your dedication is turning plans into reality!
As construction continues, ferry services remain at full capacity, with three ferries running this summer to keep everyone moving smoothly. We look forward to welcoming you to the upgraded terminal soon. Until then, have a fantastic holiday season!
In memory of Jeff Bryar's birthday, which would have been this weekend, the JBA team celebrated Founders Day!
Jeff and Diana Bryar started JBA in 1985. Today, we still practice Jeff's principles and foundations on projects:

REHAU would like to extend our thanks to the JBA Engineering team for attending our DesignHaus in South Melbourne.
Here we held a Technical presentation which was designed to provide insightful information into the REHAU innovative product range.
The presentation centered around Pe-Xa pipe as an alternative Mid-bore solution for Hot water ring mains including design applications. We also revisited the ABCB leadfree standard which will be mandatory as of 1st May 2026: https://bit.ly/3zxDtoy.
