📢 Applications are open for rounds 10 and 11 of the Victorian Government’s Digital Jobs Program. These latest rounds will support 400 mid-career Victorians to gain specialist digital skills with 12 weeks of training, followed by the opportunity to apply for a 12-week work placement. Over 1,300 Victorian businesses have sourced talent from the program, including Bendigo Bank, which has successfully placed 5 candidates into permanent employment. The program has a strong focus on workers often underrepresented in the digital workforce, with 59% of participants being women, and 63% from non-English speaking backgrounds. Applicants can select to be part of the round 10 intake in early-August, or the round 11 intake in mid-November.
