We're passionate about boldly backing business excellence on the Sunshine Coast. That's why we're proud to once again partner with the Sunshine Coast Business Awards in 2024, where the best and brightest local businesses come together to be recognised for their incredible achievements. As a further sign of our support for these wonderful businesses we offered all finalists a complimentary QLD economic update with Warren Hogan, Judo Bank's Chief Economist. Gary Waterson, Regional Director - Sunshine Coast, had the honour of presenting both the Small and Large Retail Business of the Year awards, shining a spotlight on businesses that embody resilience, creativity, and a forward-thinking approach to growth. Congratulations to all of this years winners and finalists for their vision, resilience, and dedication. Your success stories showcase the remarkable talent and entrepreneurial spirit that make the Sunshine Coast shine. #sunshinecoastbusinessawards #qldbusiness #boldlybackingbusiness

What does it mean to be truly customer-obsessed? Inducting new team members through customer visits! It's a testament to the strength of the relationships between our people and our customers to be warmly welcomed with open arms. This month, our newest members of the Judo family headed down to meet Rudolf and Roger from SÜK Workwear, followed by Mike Patrick and Kent Bell from Good Heavens Rooftop Bar (the sister of Fancy Hank's). Meeting our customers helps our people embody what we do and build an understanding of how Judo Bank customers operate, differently. Our onboarding experience is like no other. It prioritises our customer-obsessed approach to lending, and we couldn’t be prouder to run initiatives like these that shape our dedication to understanding Australian businesses and developing our incredible talent.

What do business banking and basketball have in common? Whether it's delivering on all aspects of relationship banking for our customers, or nailing that game-winning shot, it all comes down to having the right team by your side, every step of the way. A team built on a solid foundation of trusted relationships, strong judgement, and quick moves. Last week, Ben Tuszynski and Stephen Larken had the pleasure of hosting our customers at John Cain Arena and celebrating what teamwork can achieve. A big thank you to South East Melbourne Phoenix for welcoming us as Phoenix Nest Presenting Partner for their 2025 season, and for partnering with us to deliver a “slam dunk” experience! #boldlybackingbusiness #semphoenix #slamdunk

Insightful, invaluable and in-person. It’s the Judo way. Gold Coast business community, we’re talking to you! This month our Regional Director of Gold Coast, Peter Gleeson hosted an intimate event that provided an economic update, specific to the Queensland region. Our Chief Economic Advisor, Warren Hogan shed some light on Australian small and medium businesses continuing to prove their resilience. He also noted that labour shortages, the energy transition and new technology, specifically AI, are all factors expected to drive a sustained lift in business investment. Peter explained, “this was Judo Bank’s first of many events we hope to bring to the Gold Coast to share valuable expertise with the wider community and drive our passion for supporting the Gold Coast market.” Want to be the first to hear about our next event? What’s a uniquely challenger way to push boundaries with new and exciting ways to provide our customers with market-leading insights and experiences? Last week in Greater Western Sydney, Gordon Moy, Managing Director NSW/ACT, and the NSW Judo Bank team brought customers from all over Sydney together for an evening of economic insights with The Honourable John Howard OM AC and Chief Economic Advisor, Warren Hogan, hosted at the beautiful Novella On The Park function centre. Bringing such a broad range of customers together in one of Australia’s fastest growing regions with two of the most highly regarded economic figures was a no brainer, and it showed. The energy in the room was high and it’s fantastic hearing our customers enthusiastically looking forward and seeing so much opportunity for the SME market, and we’re proud to be their trusted banking partner throughout their journey. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this a night to remember. #boldlybackingbusiness #greaterwesternsydney #judolife #thoughtleadership
