Not me, I won't be attending. But our brilliant CEO Gerhard Loots will be hitting the stage at AusRAIL next week. He will be sharing insights on a topic very close to our heart - rail safety and operational efficiency. With a focus on IoT solutions and predictive monitoring, he'll look at how tech is changing the way rail networks manage risks, and operate smarter. Including sharing real-world examples from a few of our favourite rail customers. Come along for what will be a great presentation: Tuesday, 3:50pm - https://lnkd.in/gbpuuPQ4 #ausrail

How deep is your love?   About 6m deep in this case.   With high H₂S levels corroding the concrete and overflows threatening waterways, deep sewers like this one bring a unique set of challenges. That’s where our solution comes in - designed to handle harsh environments, maintain accuracy under pressure and stay reliable no matter the conditions.   From ensuring connectivity in tough spots to enduring submersion and debris, our system is built to make deep sewer monitoring straightforward and dependable. Because when it comes to critical infrastructure, getting it right is non-negotiable.

'We thought IoT was only for the big utilities.' We hear that all the time - smaller councils or municipalities often feel IoT is too complex or expensive, something only within reach of the big players with bigger teams and deeper pockets. But the reality is it's far simpler than it seems. Sure, there's a lot that goes into a full solution, and yes, we can get pretty detailed about the tech that powers it. But at it's core, IoT is about simplifying operations, offering better insights to make smarter decisions, and ultimately, helping communities thrive with more efficient, cost-effective management. And the best part? The big players have already paved the way. Meaning councils and municipalities of all sizes can step in and start reaping the rewards - without the trial and error! I spy with my little eye... A Captis! An awesome result from Unitywater on their digital metering program. You just can't argue with the numbers. A truly successful rollout that will continue to deliver significant savings for customers as they continue to scale. https://lnkd.in/gdDXC2TE

Here’s a look at our rail monitoring solution installed with one of our rail partners. Built to handle the extremes, this setup captures track temps, ambient air, rainfall and local microclimate data, keeping a close eye on what matters for a resilient rail network. What sets it apart? - It lasts for years with no constant check-ins needed. - Simple battery swaps for zero downtime - Solar backup so it's ready for any season, any weather. Why care? Well, rail performance hinges on weather conditions - extremes in heat or rain can make a big impact. With real-time insights, operators stay ahead, adjusting speeds, planning inspections and keeping every journey safe. #rail #iot

Introducing the ALL NEW Captis S2 Pulse+! What...no, we haven't made a mistake. We know it looks EXACTLY like our Captis S2 Pulse, but don't let its familiar exterior fool you - this upgrade is all about what's under the hood. And that little bit of magic? Modbus. Designed to pair seamlessly with a variety of self-powered sensors (like our Kallipr Radar Level Sensor), Pulse+ delivers smarter monitoring with enhanced compatibility and ultra-reliable data transfer. You still get the rugged build, long battery life, IP68+ rating and ultra-low power you love from the S2 range. But let's face it, sometimes it's what's on the inside that counts. https://lnkd.in/gEh8CMKP #iot #modbus

If you think we're overdoing it with our nibble-deterrent cabling and creature-proof designs, then you need to watch this video. As Bob says, 'The bloody cockys are out of control, and no one gives a stuff!' We love our national cockatoos, but when it comes to your industrial gear, you need to keep them (and their mates) at bay. Birds, ants, cockroaches, rats, squirrels - if they can get to it, they'll have a go. Look for remote monitoring devices that have planned and tested for these vandals. Ants can infiltrate just about anything, cockroaches get addicted to silicone, and cockatoos? They're just 'termites of the sky'. https://lnkd.in/gBDxmnNQ

Excited to kick off our Captis S2 deployment with Hunter Water last week. Our devices are now hard at work monitoring Emergency Relief Structures (ERS) to enhance Hunter Water’s stormwater and wastewater management.   These IoT devices are tracking water levels, flows and overflows at ERS points - critical during those big rain events and when things go wrong.    With real-time data feeding in, Captis S2 helps Hunter Water stay ahead by keeping overflows in check and reducing environmental impact.    Key benefits include: - Early overflow alerts so teams can react faster - Round-the-clock monitoring to keep everything running smoothly in tough conditions - Streamlined and easy install - Built for the extremes with long-lasting and easily replaceable battery, perfect for those tricky, remote spots - Supporting Hunter Water in hitting those all-important compliance and environmental targets.    Another big step toward smarter, more sustainable water management. #iot #smartwater #stormmanagement
