'Tis The Season, to talk about mental health. As the silly season kicks off into full swing, we thought it a good time to check in with our team and learn more about our mental health. We had Jack from It's Cool To Cry come in and talk to us about breaking down the stigmas of mental health, and normalise these discussions within our lives and work place. Not only was Jack's story and journey to starting It's Cool to Try incredibly moving, but we all left his workshop with more tools to open conversations and discussions about our mental health. A very powerful and eye opening session, thank you Jack for sharing with the Kat the Label team!

Introducing the Tidda Range: a meaningful collaboration between Kat the Label and First Nations artist Merindah-Gunya (Bayley Mifsud), a proud Peek Whurrong woman of the Maar nation. This collection combines Kat the Label’s signature silhouettes with Merindah-Gunya’s Aboriginal art, embroidered into lace to tell a powerful story of self-love and self-discovery. Merindah-Gunya’s work is deeply personal, sharing sacred symbols and stories passed down by her Elders. In her words, “All Aboriginal artwork tells a story… I wanted to represent people’s unique journey to self-love.” We’re proud to support DjirraVIC through this collaboration, donating 10% of all proceeds to this Aboriginal Community Controlled organization. Djirra empowers Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, providing resources and community to foster resilience against family violence. A huge thank you to Mia Siemonsma for leading the partnership and to the entire KTL team for bringing it to life! During a recent trip to New York, we had the opportunity to shop our collection at Nordstrom in person, an exciting moment seeing our product in one of New Yorks leading department stores. A big thanks to everyone involved in bringing this partnership to life, and we look forward to continued growth and success. Today we're opening our first ever New York pop-up and influencer gifting suite in the heart of Nolita. Many months (a year to be exact) of prep work have gone into this huge moment for the brand. A massive shoutout to Orla Roache who works tirelessly to provide the best experience for our influencers and Bianca Georgievska who has stepped in to help with the project. Having a space to meet our amazing community of Kat the Label supporters and many new faces, in the iconic New York City is a very proud moment for us all. We are thrilled to announce the beginning of a new chapter for KTL! After extensive planning and preparation, we have officially launched our new warehouse operations as of yesterday. Establishing this facility from the ground up has been a significant undertaking for the team, and we are thrilled to report its successful opening. A special thank you to our head of ops Georgia Lyall for managing this project start to finish! We look forward to enhancing our customer experience with the improved capabilities, along with a few other exciting developments to come soon.
