We were asked to deliver a program by some of Australia's leading sports organisations, media companies, universities and schools that would reverse the negative impact of COVID on kids' sport and the financial impact to sports and community clubs. The Killara Collective is the result.
Killara (Aboriginal for Always There) is an Indigenous social enterprise that serves the education and sport sectors. We return 50% of profit back to the community to create localised stimulus cycles.
We provide a range of unique and high value services to schools and sports clubs that develop the life skills our kids need in our quickly changing world. These services include
- employability skills programs
- forestry and tree planting (including large scale drone planting events, an incredible bonding experience for school groups and sports teams)
- customised sporting apparel for girls that encourage involvement in sport
-internal wayfinding and accessibility solutions for inside schools and universities to aid the visually impaired and dyslexic
- junior entrepreneur development
- Indigenous cultural programs with Australian sporting icons
- engaged community programs delivered with locals to generate local business
- outdoor education programs with world class operators from the Bear Grylls and Ninja Warrior programs
- customised educational and marketing services for schools from the voice of Siri (yes, Siri can guide your students through classwork) and many more.
We deliver through partnerships with world class athletes, media personalities, leading academics and industry legends.
