  • PROJECT HIGHLIGHT – MIKE BARNETT SPORTS COMPLEX     See our team working on the internal and external remediation to the complex earlier this year.    Engaged by the City of Rockingham, Kilmore Group's scope of work involved upgrades to the two sports buildings and the netball club rooms.    This included: internal cladding, roofing, repairs to external façades, secondary steel, upgrades of hydraulics, heating, mechanical, electrical, and painting.    As the head contractor, Kilmore was responsible for a carefully managed program that had to accommodate for planned sports competitions across the facilities.    We would like to acknowledge the hard work of our team and all subcontractors who supported the upgrades and repairs to this valued community asset.   For similar projects completed, see:  https://lnkd.in/gNGSJnpH    #kilmoregroup #perthconstruction #remediation #restoration #repairs

  • We're delighted with the final result of our cladding installation for this project! A real standout feature of Midvale Central, Kilmore was responsible for the design, supply, and installation of the shopping centre façade.

    | PROJECT FLASHBACK | EQUITONE Last year Woolworths Supermarkets opened its 107th store in WA with the launch of their Midvale supermarket as the main tenant in the Midvale Central Shopping Centre. We created a promo campaign after it opened but we recently sent our photographer to take some professional shots to capture the stunning installation. This quality build was elevated by the inclusion of EQUITONE Through-Colour Fibre Cement Panel, supplied by BLUECHIP. The through-coloured nature of EQUITONE assures crisp, monolithic details in a wide range of unique finishes. • PROJECT COMPLETION: LEEDERVILLE OVAL The heritage-listed grandstand has recently undergone crucial remedial works by Kilmore Group for the City of Vincent. Following storm damage to the roof, the project involved the replacement of the existing purlins, roof sheeting, and soffits, as well as repairs to structural steelwork. These works were self-delivered by Kilmore Group's experienced in-house tradespeople. It was essential to safeguard the existing building structure as part of the site set up, which included the use of a mast climber to minimise hold points on the brickwork. Another key objective was to minimise disruption to football games and training schedules whilst works occurred. This involved careful site management and safety considerations so that materials and machinery were not obtrusive on gamedays. Our remediation to the 60-year-old grandstand comes ahead of $5 million committed to further upgrades of the oval by the City of Vincent this offseason, including returfing and lighting upgrades.
