About us

Konnect with Data can be best described as a Data Community Hub, providing data professionals across Australia & New Zealand with the opportunity to share their knowledge, connect with like-minded data professionals, enhance their own individual brand in the market, and discover what other individuals and organisations are doing across data. After realising that most of the insights and content we find are based on the US and Europe, we felt strongly about giving this side of the world a voice. The focus of Konnect with Data is specifically on the data community across Australia & New Zealand and to highlight some of the great work being done by individuals, teams, and organisations. Konnect with Data runs and facilitates key events and knowledge-sharing opportunities, which include: 🤝 Roundtables – A small and intimate setting where data leaders come together (maximum of 10 per roundtable) to discuss key topics. 🎫 Quarterly Events – Larger events that are hosted by senior data professionals, which can include workshop-style events, panels, or key speakers. 🎤 Podcast Series – This has been an incredible series that has included many of the data leaders across Australia. The Podcasts have focused on the specific experiences of data leaders across their own journey and within their industry sectors, and there hasn't been a data topic not discussed! 📗 The Writers Hub – This is the newest initiative of Konnect with Data and is an opportunity for data professionals to write articles specific to the unique experiences of data professionals in Australia & New Zealand. Resident Writers gather twice yearly. Data is part of everything that we do, and we are passionate about allowing data professionals in Australia & New Zealand the opportunity to showcase their work and experiences, as well as develop deep relationships with colleagues and peers within this industry.
