To mark International Day of People with Disabilities (IDPwD) our Allies and Action for Accessibility and Abilities advocacy group hosted an online lunch’n’learn session to talk about the day, charities our team members are supporting, and invisible disabilities. This year’s theme “amplifying the leadership of persons with disabilities for an inclusive and sustainable future” recognises the important role that people with disabilities play in creating a more inclusive and sustainable world for all. It also emphasises the importance of the participation of persons with disabilities in decision-making processes that affect their lives. During the session our team members spoke about their experience with Can:Do 4Kids and the Starlight Children's Foundation Australia as well as sharing their experience living with hidden disabilities, including travelling internationally and living with Celiac disease. Thank you to our team members who made this happen and a special thank you to our external speaker Client Services Manager Holly Veale for sharing the work of Can:Do Group - Can:Do Hearing supports Can:Do 4Kids. #LeidosAustralia #IDPwD #InternationalDayOfPersonsWithDisabilities #Accessibility

✈ Inspiring Future Aviators ✈ Through our Perth Community Fund, we welcomed the Edith Cowan Aviators—an incredible group of aviation students from Edith Cowan University—to our Perth Base! The students enjoyed an exclusive tour of our modified aircraft, where they got a firsthand look at how we conduct search and rescue missions on behalf of the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA). From droppable life rafts and satellite phones to vital food and water supplies, they explored the tools we use to save lives. It’s always inspiring to meet the next generation of aviators. Who knows? We might see some of them flying with us in the future! #LeidosAustralia #AirborneSolutions #Perth #Community

We enjoyed the opportunity to showcase our work and discuss the future of defence with Shadow Assistant Defence Minister Phillip Thompson OAM MP and Federal Member for Casey Aaron Violi MP at our Scoresby office today. During the visit, we presented our advanced equipment designed to counter CBRND threats and provided an inside look at the behind-the-scenes operations of our software factory. Collaborative dialogue between policymakers and industry is crucial to driving progress and ensuring a strong future for defence. Our teams appreciated the chance to talk about how they are working together to solve Australia’s toughest challenges in government, intelligence, defence, aviation and border protection. #LeidosAustralia #Defence #DefenceIdustry 📸 (L-R) Michael Tull, Paul Chase, Aaron Violi MP, Phillip Thompson OAM MP, Louisa Pontonio, Greg Fraser, Steven de Jong and Man Ho

❤ Supporting our communities ❤ Through our Broome Community Fund, we were thrilled to support the Kyle Andrews Foundation, a Broome-based charitable foundation with the goal of providing support for children with serious or life-threatening illnesses, by providing funding towards an airfare for a child to attend the 2025 Kyle’s Camp in Broome. Kyle’s Camp is held every year for approximately 15-20 children undergoing treatment in Perth Children’s Hospital, to give them a much-needed break from their difficult treatments and therapy, and bring some joy, happiness and fun to their life with other children going through similar experiences. It is heartwarming to be able to provide much-needed support to organisations like these in the communities in which we work. #LeidosAustralia #AirborneSolutions #Broome #Community
