We are preparing to open the Yarra Valley’s first all-suite hotel, which we are thrilled to announce will be part of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World collection. Designed by Karl Fender of world-renowned architects FK, the striking, undulating hotel embodies the “Genius Loci” as a guiding principle of Karl Fender’s approach for Levantine Hill. Each of the 33 beautifully appointed suites over two levels, will have its own living area, study and private balcony with stunning views over the vineyards and rolling hills. Drawing inspiration from wine barrels, the restrained and sophisticated design aligns with its function and placement in the landscape. Nestled into the downhill slope, the pavilion, finished in exposed concrete, complemented with a fine grain latticework of bronze metallic screens which subtly blends into its surroundings, the carefully positioned windows and rooms offer uninterrupted views of Coldstream's picturesque rolling hills. Trailblazing in true Levatine Hill fashion, this will be the first Yarra Valley hotel where each room is a luxurious suite offering a living area, study, balcony with a view to the vineyards and Levantine Hill Estate. We have worked with award-winning Australian interior design firm Sora Interior Architecture & Design, and very closely with Jardin furniture, to create a palette of robust and raw elements of exposed concrete and timber joinery and panelling with accents of silver fixtures and leather upholstery.
