We had an incredible day hosting some of our local Brighton Technologies Group customers and our friends from Third Space Accountants at the annual GO PINK Charity Luncheon at LIONS@springwood earlier this week. 🦁🌸 It was truly heartwarming to come together in support of the Mater Foundation raising much-needed funds for breast cancer research. Saddening to hear that 1 in 7 women are diagnosed annually, meaning that over 21,000 mothers, daughters, sisters and friends face breast cancer each year. 💖 We’re proud to have been part of such an amazing event, with more than $101,000 raised for this crucial cause! GO PINK LUNCH 2024 Yesterday, Megan Reidy and I had the Honor of attending the Springwood Lions Annual Breakfast Lunch, thanks to the generous invitation from Mater who has a strong partnership with Hastings Deering. This special event was dedicated to raising funds and awareness for breast cancer and cancer research. Murray Jamieson, the owner of the LIONS@springwood Club, shared his personal experience of losing a close family member to cancer, while the inspiring Maxine bravely spoke about her own battle with cancer treatment. Their stories were incredibly moving and a powerful reminder of the hope and resilience that unite us all. Thanks to the incredible efforts of everyone involved, the event raised over $101,000 which was donated to the Mater Fondation. Breast cancer touches countless lives each year—our mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, and friends.
