About us

As the world’s leading live entertainment company, we are privileged to work with artists to bring their creativity to life on stages from around the world to the APAC region. Bringing 30,000 shows and 100+ festivals to life and selling 500 million tickets per year is a massive undertaking, made possible by our 44,000 employees worldwide. But just because we are big doesn’t mean we do things the same way as other companies of our size. We are Live Nation APAC.

  • Live Nation New Zealand has today announced two exciting new appointments to the Waikato Regional Theatre team - Michael Gilling joins as Venue Manager and Sarah Graham joins as Bookings Manager.    Set to open in late 2025 and operate in partnership with Waikato Regional Property Trust, this 1300-capacity, flexible venue will drive Waikato's economy by boosting tourism, creating jobs, and supporting local businesses, and will bring top-tier local and international talent to the stage in Hamilton.   Michael Gilling brings over 30 years of experience in the performing arts, live events, and venue management. His career has spanned theatre production, live concerts, music festivals, international sporting events, and large-scale event operations, with tenures at Founders Theatre, FMG Stadium Waikato, Seddon Park, and Claudelands Event Centre.   As he embarks on this exciting new chapter, Michael looks forward to establishing the Waikato Regional Theatre as a premier destination for world-class performances and community engagement. His vision is to create a vibrant cultural hub that attracts top-tier talent while fostering a strong connection with the Waikato community.   Sarah Graham is a seasoned performing arts programmer with extensive experience in leadership and collaborative strategy development. In her current role as Place & Partners Specialist – Arts at Auckland Council, she works alongside local arts organisations in West Auckland to enhance their impact. Before this, Sarah held the position of Deputy Chief Executive & Programme Director at Q Theatre.

To celebrate International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month, Live Nation ANZ were lucky to hear from global powerhouses and champions of diversity and inclusion, Lesley Olenik, SVP of Global Touring, Live Nation Entertainment, and Lucy Dickins, Global Head of Contemporary Music and Touring at WME | William Morris Endeavor.    Thanks to WE Nation, Live Nation Women, and Ticketmaster Women, the pair sat down with Jackie Antas, our leader of WE Nation ANZ Chapter and VP Communications, for two incredible fireside chats, discussing their experiences working in the music industry and sharing insights into their inspiring careers.   Their conversation covered a range of topics, including turning passion into a successful career in live music, inspiring and (almost) unbelievable stories from their professional journeys, and advice for achieving work-life balance as a woman in a demanding field.   Thank you to both Lesley and Lucy for your time and invaluable insights! 💜
