Last year I got *really* clear on who my ideal client was, and it involved me having to get comfortable with saying "no" to some businesses because they didn't align with that ideal client I had created. When I ask a potential client "why is your business on social media?" it is the answer they give that usually tells me straight away if we're going to be a good fit or not. There is some goals I CAN help with, and some that I simply can't. Tell me: why is your business on social media?

As of today I have officially been running my own business for five whole years! 🎉 At the start of my business journey I was told that 50% of small businesses fail in their first five years, and I was completely adamant that I would not be counted in that statistic. It was something that stuck in the back of my mind the whole time. And I didn’t 🙌 But really, this first five years is just the beginning, there is so much more to come 🎉

..and that is a good thing! Local Social Co. is for the rural and regional businesses throughout Australia who want to talk to their community. They don't want to reach people 1000kms away, or people in another country. They want to connect with and create relationships with the people who are within driving distance. They want to connect locally. Why is this a good thing? Because all my energy is focused on local marketing, I am not bothering to learn the latest techniques to reach people overseas, I am continually learning anything and everything that will help my clients with their local marketing. My focus is on helping local rural and regional businesses to maximise their presence on social media. If you are a business or organisation that wants to connect and engage with their local audience, send me a DM now, I have limited spaces left until after May 2025!

Just because your out in the bush doesn't mean there is no point to your business being on social media! I don't know where that mentality has come from, but it's hurting businesses. There is a place for all businesses on social media, including rural and regional businesses, and it's time for them to step into the wide world of social media marketing and start harnessing those benefits 🙌

Three different LSC. clients, three different social media platforms, all great results from organic social media management during July. Don't get me wrong, not every month do we see percentage increases all round, so when we do, we celebrate 🔥 #SocialMediaManagement #RuralWA #RegionalWA #RuralBusiness #RegionalBusiness #RRR

Why does your event need a social media presence? 📱Because we hear about events to attend on socials 📱Because we share events we're interested in on socials 📱Because we follow along with events we can't attend on socials 📱Because we post about events in real time when attend them 📱Because we post about events after we've been to them People WILL talk about your event on social media, you can either be apart of the conversation or you can be oblivious to it. (Hint: you should want to be apart of it).
