ᴠᴜᴇ ᴅᴇ ᴍᴏɴᴅᴇ - ʟᴜɪ ʙᴀʀ The sky-high Lui Bar located within the acclaimed fine-dining establishment Vue de monde in Melbourne’s CBD, has recently undergone a state-of-the-art renovation. Lead by the talented team at Elenberg Fraser, a stone circular bar takes pride of place, while window seating makes the most of remarkable views. The lighting is a statement in itself, designed by Electrolight, it plays a big part in the interior’s moody feel. Featuring Deltalight 2x 5m dia Superloop with integrated spots as well a smaller Superloop with diffused soft illumination – all in a stunning Flemish Bronze finish. We are proud to have been part of this project in such an iconic space. Congratulations to all involved!

Uplighting for the win! 😍

Aurora Place Lobby Renewal Originally designed by RPBW Renzo Piano Building Workshop, our lighting team at LCI Consultants collaborated closely with Cox Architecture on the Lobby & Forecourt Renewal of Aurora Place. We seamlessly integrated lighting elements through careful consideration of the existing architectural features and the new elements introduced by Cox. This allowed us to maintain a clean ceiling, free from building services, while simultaneously adding visual interest and a welcoming human scale to the space. It was no small feat, but the results speak for themselves! For the restoration of the existing wall lights, we worked closely with the original manufacturer and supplier to not only refurbish the uplights from a visual aspect but also to upgrade their lighting performance. By upgrading the old metal halide to LED technology, we not only improved the energy efficiency but also the light quality. This was an iterative process where several prototypes were made and tested to deliver the best outcome!
