Building the future: UK’s first-of-its-kind 3D concrete printer to power sustainable construction research We're thrilled to announce that Northumbria University in Newcastle UK has just received one of the many Platypus series printers that arrived to the UK. The Luyten Platypus series are the first-ever Australian-made 3D construction printers to be sold overseas and now its in the UK! After a competitive tender process with bids from around the world, LUYTEN was selected for its technical prowess and the proven reliability of our Australian-made robots. The addition of the new technology to the University was supported by a Royal Society Research grant - one of the most prestigious funding schemes for scientists in the UK. This achievement highlights the global recognition of LUYTEN's commitment to innovation and excellence in 3D construction printing.
