2025 takes us to Switzerland 🇨🇭which we skipped in 2024 but glad to be back. Of course we will ride the iconic Furka Pass - quite a breathtaking alpine route steeped in history, it boasts a legacy dating back to the 14th century. It captured the global spotlight in 1964, thanks to Sean Connery’s thrilling portrayal of James Bond in Goldfinger, where the Aston Martin DB5 roared across its hairpin curves. Sitting at an elevation of 2,431 meters, this iconic pass ranks among the highest and most scenic in the Swiss Alps. The Furka Pass lies on the Furka Strasse, a 70-kilometer road winding between Brig and Andermatt. Its most dramatic stretch connects Gletsch to Andermatt, weaving through the stunning alpine region of Obergoms.

2025 takes us to Provence and how magic to be riding around the Verdon Gorge again. One never tires of this site! The Verdon Gorge (French: Gorges du Verdon) is a river canyon located in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region of Southeastern France. It is about 25 km long and up to 700 metres deep. It was formed by the Verdon River, which is named for its turquoise-green colour, one of the location’s distinguishing characteristics. Located between the towns of Castellane and Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, the river has cut a ravine to a depth of 700 meters through the limestone mass. At the end of the canyon, the Verdon flows into the artificial Lake of Sainte-Croix.
