Leaders in Advanced Ground Engineering and Asset Preservation Technologies
About us
Mainmark offers unique, innovative solutions for rectifying ground engineering and asset preservation problems in residential, industrial, commercial, civil engineering and mining situations. For more than 20 years, Mainmark has built our reputation by providing cost effective and efficient solutions, great products, and excellent service. We have led the world in offering some of the most advanced and accurate solutions for structure re-levelling, including resin injection techniques such as Uretek®, as an alternative to traditional underpinning. In 2017 Mainmark launched Teretek®, a proprietary engineered resin solution that utilises an injection delivery method perfected by Mainmark. Teretek is a unique two-in-one solution that delivers both ground improvement and re-levelling. It increases ground bearing capacity, fills voids, and can mitigate soil liquefaction. Worldwide, Mainmark has completed many tens of thousands of projects, varying from small domestic applications to large commercial, industrial, civil and mining projects. As part of post-earthquake remediation works in both Japan and Christchurch, we have developed expertise in technologies such as JOG Computer-Controlled Grouting and Jet Grouting. We also excel in application of our specialist lightweight void filling product, Terefil®, plus we are experts in Permeation Grouting for coastal, sandy areas. Mainmark specialises in advanced, site-specific solutions for revitalising, sealing, protecting and structurally reinforcing ageing or damaged infrastructure including tunnels, shafts, pipes and basements impacted by weak ground and water ingress. In Australasia we formed the Mainmark group in 1995 and have offices throughout Australia and New Zealand. We also have subsidiaries in Japan and UK. The Mainmark group consists of Mainmark Ground Engineering, Mainmark Civil & Mining Services, Mainmark Equipment and other related businesses. Australia | New Zealand | Japan | UK

Situated in NSW, a well-known Australian tea producer had been experiencing movement of its warehouse floor slabs under forklift and truck traffic loading. This floor instability posed difficulties in loading and unloading warehouse racking and compromised the stability of forklift operations. Concerned about safety and the uninterrupted flow of operations, the owner contacted Mainmark to seek a solution. Using a technique known as “stitching”, the Mainmark technicians used a Teretek® material specifically designed for such applications. The Teretek® treatment was completed within a single day without interrupting the warehouse operations. The rapid-setting properties of Teretek® also made the floor immediately trafficable. Mainmark is proud to have been involved in the award-winning Screen Queensland Studios commercial development in Far North Queensland, recently recognised by Master Builders Queensland. Working with Richard Field Constructions, Mainmark was engaged to raise the 6,500m2 existing floor slab to the required design levels. Utilising our Teretek® technology, we injected directly beneath the floor slab to fill voids, reconfirm support, and raise them by as much as 80mm. Congratulations to Richard Field Constructions and the team for outstanding work on this state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility.
