Who’s making the world a better place for women this week? McGrath Foundation has been doing it for 20 years but this week is going to be massive with the The NRMA Pink Test kicking off in Sydney tomorrow. 🏏 Over the past 20 years, the Foundation has supported over 150,000 families and now has 261 McGrath Cancer Care Nurses in communities across the country. In partnership with Cricket Australia and Sydney Cricket Ground, the Pink Test plays a big part in building awareness of the Foundation and driving fundraising to continue to provide support to Australians going through cancer. Yesterday, McGrath Foundation announced that from next year the Foundation will be expanding its services and providing nurses to patients with any type of cancer. 📈How can you support? Head to www.pinktest.com.au to buy a virtual seat to support care for all cancers. Over 32,000 seats and $600k has been raised before the first ball! 🩷 Congratulations Tracy Bevan and the whole team at McGrath Foundation on an incredible 20 years. We hope this is your biggest year yet.

McGrath Foundation Ambassador & Director. Incredibly proud to be by my best friend Jane McGrath's side when she started the McGrath Foundation. I will continue her work with the most incredible team until we meet again

Glenn & I don’t usually do interviews together as we normally divide & conquer, but with announcing yesterday our very special news that the McGrath Foundation is taking our expert care to all cancers, it was great to share this incredible milestone together on Channel 7 this morning. We both are fully aware what has been achieved over the past 20 years would not have ever happened without the incredible support from the Australian community, so from the bottom of our hearts thank you 💕 Now we have to roll up our sleeves & start our new purpose so no one misses out on care from a McGrath Foundation Cancer Care Nurse so please Australia continue to help us & buy at least one of our virtual pink seats from www.pinktest.com.au How proud my mate Jane would be 🙏

  • We’re calling it: desk decorating is officially a thing this festive season. 🎄🎁⚡️ After hosting our own Christmas desk decorating competition at Mamamia HQ, we couldn’t wait to take the festive fun on the road. Enter the Carat x Mamamia Christmas Desk Decorating Competition, spearheaded by our very own Isabelle McConaghy and Sophie Mateer. The goal? Celebrate the incredible campaigns we’ve collaborated on this year while spreading some serious holiday cheer. And the Carat team delivered 🎁 🏆 The BWS account team wowed us all with their show-stopping Christmas Arc de Triomphe. ✨ The Woolworths Supermarkets account team came in a close second with their stunning handmade Mamamia sign (we’re obsessed). 🌞 The Galderma account team brought the Aussie summer Christmas vibes we all needed. A big shoutout to Summer Jane and Joe Gannon from the Carat Culture Club for helping organise this fantastic initiative. The event ended with mimosas and pastries, the perfect way to close out an incredible year. #officelife #officechristmas #sydney

Today we hosted our first Holiday Hangout at Mamamia HQ, where our mini VIPs finally got to see what their parents do all day (and raid our legendary snack stash - like parent, like child 😉). From our podcast studios to the boardroom, there were: 🎨 Face painting masterpieces 🎵 Dance moves that put our TikTok game to shame 🪄 Magic tricks (some more successful than others) 🎈 Balloon animals of questionable species 🍕 And enough pizza to fuel our next quarter's strategy sessions Props to our P&C team (Nicolle Stuart, Hayley Laverack, Lisa Fallon & Yvette Bay) for pulling it all together, and to all our future media moguls who gave the office their stamp of approval.

  • Can you copyright your… vibe? One influencer certainly thinks so. Naturally the Mamamia Outloud pod hosts had to unpack. ⏮️ In case you missed it. Sydney Gifford, a Minnesota-based lifestyle influencer with 300,000+ Instagram followers, is suing Alyssa Sheil for allegedly copying her "vibe". Gifford's feed is a sea of white and beige, but when she noticed Sheil's strikingly similar content, she took action. 💸This isn't just about matching aesthetics. Gifford claims Sheil has replicated her entire online persona, from product promotions to self-presentation. Gifford reports her Amazon sales drop when Sheil posts similar content, adding financial stakes to the dispute. ⏭️ What’s next? Gifford has secured copyrights for her posts and filed a lawsuit, potentially setting a precedent for digital intellectual property. What do you think? Can a "vibe" be copyrighted? Should it be?
