About us
Marque is a law firm that does not measure the value of its people or its clients in six minute units of time. We do not charge by the hour. We do not charge you when we pick up the phone or send you an email. We do not charge you for taking you to lunch or travel time or any of that kind of stuff that is disconnected from the real value of what we do. We invest in long term relationships with our clients, and we measure the value of our services in the same way that you do. We have a lot to offer, and we provide it in a way that doesn’t hurt. That's a small part of the Marque difference. Finally, lawyers who get it.

Many thanks to Cloisters Chambers for posting about this and to Eryk Bagshaw of The Sydney Morning Herald for his kind words about me. I had no idea about the article until I read it in the paper. The true heroes of the piece are, of course, my courageous and inspiring clients: Rachelle Hair, Jenna Hemsworth, @Britt Rowe and @Reuby Kahl. I am honoured to be instructed on their behalf by the equally courageous and, indeed, masterful team at Marque Lawyers: Michael Bradley, Lauren Gasparini and Alice Osborne.
Cloisters’ Sheryn Omeri KC was recently featured on the front page of the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper. Referred to as one of the world’s top employment lawyers, she is instructed on behalf of a number of former bar-and wait-staff of Australian hospitality giant, Swillhouse in their claims of sexual harassment and assault while working at various Swillhouse venues around Sydney. “If you look at the probability someone’s going to report to police, the probability police will prosecute, the probability someone is going to be convicted and punished for that rape – it’s somewhere south of 1%. That is negligible,” he says. “Your chances of actually facing consequences for committing rape are almost nonexistent and that is by design. And if we are all comfortable with that, then cool, let’s stick with what we’ve got. But I’m not.” - Michael Bradley, Marque Lawyers https://lnkd.in/g9ZTqNWa
