Industrial Hydraulic Services aspires to be a profitable manufacturer and marketer of hydraulically engineered solutions throughout Australia and overseas. From humble beginnings in 1973, Industrial Hydraulic Services (IHS) has grown from servicing the local engineering market to becoming a major competitor on the international scene. Industrial Hydraulic Services has achieved this by developing a specialist group of technical engineering consultants that are focussed on solving complex engineering problems by the innovative use of hydraulics. As a leader in the domestic market, Industrial Hydraulic Services' aim over recent years has been to consolidate our position within Australia with a focus on opportunities of international trade. Our initial export thrust was aimed at South East Asia. The geographic proximity and the economic growth meant that we could easily service major construction projects without stretching internal resources. Taking this initiative proved extremely successful for the company. Industrial Hydraulic Services is now a worldwide exporter of hydraulic components with customers in Europe, Africa, Middle East, Canada and the USA. CP Engineering has been providing specialist quality sheet metal fabrication and component manufacture since 1980.     Clear skies and VLocity on show this week in Dandenong, Victoria. Celebrating the 20-year history of the VLocity fleet being manufactured at our site in Victoria, Gabrielle Williams, Minister for Public and Active Transport alongside Pascal Dupond, Managing Director of Alstom ANZ and Ben Phyland, Head of Rolling Stock Development for Department of Transport and Planning came together in front of the 116th Unit ever made. The continuous investment in this long serving project supports our regional communities, creates local jobs and underpins a vast range of local companies that we work with to deliver the VLocity fleet.
