Our Sydney CBD teams recently moved into a new office, where we are celebrating our literal and metaphorical connections. Guided by incredible Wadi Wadi artist Natalie Abraham, many of our team members contributed to the beautiful artwork she created for us in our staircase – ‘Journey of Connection’. We now have a meaningful representation of what it means to be all under one roof in this place we are lucky enough to work in, as well as celebrating our connections to our clients, customers and community. Thank you to this amazing group of people, who facilitated a smooth move into new office space for our Sydney CBD teams. Their work meant the rest of us could simply arrive, plug in and enjoy from day one. Our new Sydney home is across two interconnected floors and brings many of our people under the one roof for the first time. As our CEO Tim Morphy said when welcoming everyone on Monday, the workplace has been set up for our team members, to encourage community, connection and collaboration. Last week, OzHarvest Sydney HQ came to life as over 100 proud supporters joined us to celebrate the incredible impact we’ve achieved together nourishing communities and reducing food waste. Delicious canapés from our Food Truck floated around the room as everyone mingled with our team and each other, discovering all the ways they can further their impact—from food rescue and waste reduction through to advocacy and education. We loved hearing how many of you left inspired after a magical evening, including Elke Gjergja, Executive Director of Corporate Services at MedHealth who shared, “We’re thrilled to be proud supporters of OzHarvest, chosen by our team members as the charity of choice for the next three years. We were given a wonderful opportunity last night to learn more about the incredible work OzHarvest do through education and key community initiatives. We now have even more ideas about ways in which we can support OzHarvest in their goal to provide food relief services through food rescue to Australians experiencing food insecurity. Our Corporate Services team spent some wonderful time together to support Impact for Women and the incredible work they do every day to support women and their families when they most need a helping hand.
