2024 marked a pivotal shift in how we approach teaching and learning excellence across our 300+ Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools. The launch of our Vision for Instruction wasn't just another initiative – it represented our commitment to ensuring every student, in every classroom has access to evidence-based, high-quality teaching. What we achieved together: • Launched system-wide Vision for Instruction, grounding our practice in evidence • Developed comprehensive curriculum resources with Ochre Education across English, Mathematics and Humanities • Built practical supports for implementing evidence-based practices in every classroom • Created new professional learning modules to support our teachers • Expanded our Flourishing Learners program to reach more schools Three posts that captured our journey: "Vision for Instruction Launch" Making explicit the practices that ensure students learn and make expected progress.
