Earlier this week, our Studio M Design & Inspiration Centre in Robina was transformed for the 2025 More Love Expo – French Twist edition! With 190 Metricon team members and partners in attendance, the day was all about education, innovation, and celebrating our valued industry relationships. From charcuterie cones to a flower bar and a live illustrator, the event was packed with memorable moments - before wrapping up with drinks and networking. A huge thank you to all our partners for making it possible, with a special shoutout to our Platinum Partners - COLORBOND® steel, Fujitsu General Australia, National Tiles, Carpet Call AU, and Fisher & Paykel Appliances - for their ongoing support!

Following the RBA's decision to cut the official cash rate by 0.25% yesterday, Metricon CEO Brad Duggan has urged Australians to take advantage of improved affordability while rates are low.  “With rates easing and strong demand in the market, now is the time to lock in a home before demand increases significantly.”   However, speaking to The Australian, Brad cautioned that uncertainty around interest rates is creating hesitation, and without broader structural reforms, affordability pressures could return. A rate cut from the Reserve Bank is welcome news for home buyers, making homeownership more achievable and boosting confidence in the housing market.
