Do you administer the WISC-V? Do you want to develop a better understanding of what the sub-tests, sub-domains, and summary scores actually mean, what conceptual and academic domains they map onto, and how this impacts the child in the real world? Do you want to get better at communicating this information in lay-terms to parents and teachers and give more meaningful recommendations? Advanced Interpretation of the WISC-V webinar is now available on-demand, so you can watch it at a time that works for you! Get access here: https://lnkd.in/gWSvzpSD This training covers: ✅ Underlying cognitive skills and neurobiology underpinning the WISC-V subtests and subdomains. ✅ Functional translation of these skills – what do these skills actually look like at home and school? ✅ Common cognitive profiles for neurodivergent kids (including Autism, ADHD, and learning disorders) and how to identify and interpret these. ✅ Beyond the index scores – what other scores and data should we be looking out for and what do they mean? ✅ Discrepancy analysis discussion, through a case example. ✅ Tips on feedback and reporting of WISC-V results. (NB: the on-demand version does not include the downloadable resources included in the live version, and the rental price has been adjusted to reflect this 😊 )

FEEDBACK MASTERCLASS! Hi gang! I’m running a Feedback Masterclass on the 28th Feb! Learn more or grab tickets here (10% Early Bird discount until 30th Nov!): https://lnkd.in/g3z-seTK Feedback is such a crucially important part of the assessment process (regardless of the type of assessment you’re doing!) – it’s where we weave together all the various pieces of information we have collected into something meaningful for the client. And research tells us that when clients and patients better understand their results, their outcomes improve. Frustratingly though, we’re often not explicitly taught in our clinical programs how to provide therapeutic, client-centred feedback sessions following assessment and how to clearly communicate complex and nuanced results in a way that actually feels meaningful (or at the very least, comprehensible!!) to clients and patients. When we see another human being for assessment we are given an enormous privilege – we are holding their story in our hands. What we do with that story can have a profound impact on how that person sees themselves and how they show up in the world. I can’t wait to get stuck into this topic in the new year! (Also, for those of you who have seen Wine Country - good luck getting the 'feedback' song out of your head now 😅)
