Mildura Rural City Council is proudly partnering with local agencies and groups to support the global 16 Days of Activism initiative. It runs every year from 25 November (the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) to 10 December (Human Rights Day). During the 16 Days of Activism, communities around the world join the call to prevent and eliminate violence against women and girls. In 2024, Respect Victoria and Safe and Equal are working together to support local community engagement With support and funding from local partners Respect Victoria & Safe and Equal, numerous opportunities have been created by a several local stakeholders to help our community take action.
