In a semi-outdoor area, lighting isn’t just about illumination; it’s about creating an inviting atmosphere and ensuring lasting durability. The lighting needed to be weather-resistant, robust, and capable of withstanding both environmental elements and continuous use. Working with Stantec, Fredon, and Kane Constructions Pty Ltd, mLight proudly presents our most resilient product, the Siguri X with IP66 and IK11* protection, for the Children’s Hospital at Westmead forecourt area.  Designed to endure outdoor conditions, where exposure to the elements is a daily occurrence. The continuous effect recessed mounted Siguri X integrates seamlessly into the ceiling, delivering an elegant glow across the forecourt. Curved and Linear, Kingston State School Shines with Swerve 76 Our Swerve, renowned for its dynamic radii options, allows designers to explore various shapes, curves, or combinations, adding emphasis to architectural features. In the Kingston State School project, in collaboration with Cottee Parker, BSI, Energypro, and Bedford Built, we showcased Swerve from a new perspective, using full-length, straight sections in 4000mm, 10,000mm, and 16,000mm lengths. These straight lines bring a sense of simplicity and uniformity, aligning seamlessly with the school’s clean architectural lines and effectively defining space boundaries. We also supplied a custom R1087.5 curvilinear section that mirrors the reception desk’s curvature and shape, bringing unity to the overall design. The Kingston State School project showcases Swerve’s adaptability to both curved and fully linear designs, proving that the Swerve line can seamlessly integrate into any spatial configuration.
