Last week, our Sydney team gave an inspiring presentation at the Sydney Design School, where the Coogee skeleton stole the show. The students were captivated by the in-depth breakdown of Molmic’s furniture-making process. Wishing all these talented future designers the best in their exciting journeys ahead. Family, heritage, and Melbourne craftsmanship were at the heart of our Friday night event, where we proudly unveiled our new Abbotsford trade showroom. General Manager Anthony Paterra and Director Molly McMahon were joined by John McMahon, Assistant Production Manager, and Alex Paterra, Procurement Manager, in celebrating Molmic’s rich legacy. A big thank you to our valued designers and suppliers for joining us in this special celebration!

On Saturday, we participated in Saturday InDesign, where we presented our latest products and exclusive fabrics. Our Sydney showroom saw a great turnout, with many visitors coming through the doors. Our General Manager, Anthony, gave an insightful presentation on various aspects of sofa manufacturing. Later in the afternoon, we opened our bar, and while visitors initially came for the furniture, they stayed to enjoy the drinks. Thank you to all that came along and participated.

Last week we had the pleasure of hosting the next generation of interior designers. We shared wisdom & insights to first year RMIT interior design students on furniture grouping, fabric selection & our manufacturing process. It was a great experience for all and we wish all the students the best of luck, thank you for attending.
