Both ECAC and RRAF have been overwhelmed by the amount of funding applications that we have received in the past six months. There are SO many incredible people and projects happening in Esperance and regional/rural WA, we could not be more excited for what is to come.

Our out of office will be turned on from the end of this week! We hope everyone is ready for the silly season to truly commence!

Mt Burdett Foundation are pleased to support Rotary Club of Esperance in transitioning to a more eco-aware celebration for New Years! It will be exciting for the Esperance community to welcome 2025 through a magnificent laser light show set to light up Kepa Kurl Bay. The Mt Burdett Foundation is supportive of applicants that show innovative solutions for reducing environmental impact, such as the air and noise pollution, chemical contamination, waste generation, and wildlife disturbance now known to be associated with fireworks. It is time for us to begin introducing you to the Esperance Community Advisory Committee, beginning with Chair, Megan McDowall. "I very much believe that communities really come into their own when they take charge of creating their own future. The Esperance community, which our family is fortunate to call home, already has a strong thread of this DIY approach in it’s DNA. I really hope Mt Burdett Foundation can play a useful supporting role in converting the energy and good ideas out there, into community ‘game changers’." The Rural and Regional Advancement Foundation of Mt Burdett Foundation are again supporting two places in the Leadership WA's Rising Leadership Program! Scholarship applications close very soon - 9th of December 2024. Jayde Guest, a past student of this course, with the support of Mt Burdett Foundation says "I highly recommend this program!!" The Esperance Community Advancement Committee were proud to support Lucky Bay Brewery and Kyza to present a live performance by The Desert Stars and documentary screening of Gravel Road in Esperance recently. Both events were free for all ages and great community events.

🌾 Mt Burdett Farm Harvest Update🌾 Canola and barley crops have been harvested with just the wheat crops to go! Although rain has made harvest difficult in the Esperance area, we are still hopeful of a reasonable outcome thanks to great farm management in Adam and Jodie!
