This year, we proudly showcased our styles across six stunning runways and collaborated with an amazing group of ambassadors/ influencers. Hosting an exclusive lunch allowed us to connect with fashion enthusiasts and industry leaders, celebrating the creativity that defines M/FW. Our behind-the-scenes content offered a glimpse into the magic of the event, while our daily emails, fashion blogs, and website updates kept our community engaged and informed with styles straight from the runway. I’m particularly proud of our continued commitment to giving back, as we supported Ready Set with donations to help empower those in need.   • Our very own Kerrie Munro is a Southern Region National Finalist for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ Award!    Congratulations to our Creative Director, Kerrie.   • Munro Footwear Group acquires children’s footwear retailer, The Trybe     We’d like to think we know a little something about children's footwear - we’ve been running back-to-school through our Williams and Mathers stores for 30-odd years, and in 2023, we acquired the globally recognised infant and toddler footwear brand, Bobux.    To complement this offering, we needed a year-round retail vehicle, and we believe The Trybe provides that.     Launched 5 years ago, The Trybe has a distinct position in the marketplace and offers the world’s best sneaker brands, including Nike, Asics, and New Balance, as well as a range of popular trend and utility brands.      Co-CEO Marcus Bartlett said, “We’re confident that under our business model, together with The Trybe’s existing brand positioning and recognition, we can take this well beyond the current 16-store footprint.”     We’re aware there is a lot we still need to learn and understand about The Trybe’s operations and brand, which is why we are honoured that the Retail team will be joining us on this journey along with a number of the support office team members, including The Trybe's General Manager, Tia Paterson.    To read more about the acquisition or to access the media release, please visit our website.  Jay Munro Marcus Bartlett Phillip Scala Tia Paterson

  • Munro Footwear Group Secures Exclusive Aus/NZ Distribution License for ROCKPORT Beyond our extensive wholesale business, which primarily focuses on internally designed brands, including Bobux , Ziera, and Django and Juliette, we have recently added the globally recognised comfort brand Rockport to our portfolio. We are incredibly excited about the opportunity and look forward to contributing to the growth and expansion of Rockport's business. We understand there is a lot of work to do, but our immediate priorities are to ensure Rockport’s classics are back in stock before Christmas, develop a new ecommerce website and introduce new and captivating styles in time for Winter 2025.  Chief Product Officer Bill Munro looks forward to meeting with existing Rockport customers and confirms, 'With such a strong and loyal customer base, we know how vital the classics are, but we’re also excited about exploring new opportunities within the men’s and women’s categories.   • Olympic fever has hit MFG!  Over the last week and a half, our Social Club has pulled out all the stops, running our very own mini-Olympics across our support office and distribution centre.   From basketball, trivia, and mini golf through to an epic egg and spoon race - we’ve had a great turnout across all the events. We’ve loved seeing the team come together to have a bit of fun, celebrate the Olympic spirit, and embrace their competitive side.    With one day to go, and an Amazing Race style event to wrap it all up, we can't wait to see which department takes out bragging rights as the ultimate winners. 

  • Elevating the experience for our wholesale customers!  By partnering with Brandscope, we are improving the experience for our wholesale customers, who can now place their orders through an easy, on-demand B2B e-commerce portal. Customers can view seasonal range releases and stock on hand, with up-to-date stock listings and product information just one click away. After a successful implementation with the Ziera brand, we look forward to transitioning Mollini and Top End to the platform, with the remaining brands to follow. It’s been almost a full year since we welcomed Bobux into the MFG portfolio of brands, and we have seen incredible growth in such a short time.  We spoke to Lead Product Developer Karen Strickland about what it means to be part of MFG, and what the future holds for Bobux. “At MFG we're on a fantastic journey and this is only the beginning for Bobux.
