  • 🥇 GPS Tracking For Long Haul Fleets 🥇 ➡️ Want to improve your truck utilisation? MyFleets GPS telematics platform produces much needed data to see what vehicles are underutilised. One of the best ways to get a return on investment is to know whether you need to buy additional trucks for your fleet when you could just take one from an under utilised area of the business. ➡️ Real-time tracking dramatically increases customer satisfaction by allowing fleets to provide accurate ETAs and give instant updates. Knowing where your fleet is live gives the ability for staff to make informed decisions on the fly for route changes due to incidents and traffic which in turn can mean delays to your end user. ➡️ Reducing your companies carbon footprint is very important and if you have the data to know your truck fleet is efficient you will save big on fuel costs. Fuel is one of the largest expenses in long-haul trucking. Our telematics devices and platform will give you the tools you need to know which behaviours are contributing to the fuel waste problem. Be notified instantly when these behaviours occur ➡️ MyFleets platform offers a simple interface that makes accessing and analyzing fleet data straightforward and extremely easy to use. 🔥 Reach out to us for a discussion or an online demonstration https://lnkd.in/gtngzqDH #trucktracking #gpstrucktracking #transporttelematics

  • 👉 What Is a good basis for measuring fuel? Creating a base for your telematics is crucial to visualise any potential improvements or declines across your business’s performance. This is updated whenever the vehicle refuels at your onsite diesel pumps to create a baseline for each job. Data that needs to be marked are: ➡️ How long since the last refueling? ➡️ Driver name and vehicle registration ➡️ The telematics data from the previous job. ➡️ Telematics Supporting Fleet Optimisation Optimising your fleet is essential to find the highest levels of productivity your fleet can achieve. We have already discussed earlier how this addresses any inefficiencies regarding an individual driver’s activities, but you can use telematics data across your entire fleet operations to further increase your fuel efficiency and productivity. The key considerations when analysing your fleet are: ➡️ Fuel consumption ➡️ Vehicle maintenance ➡️ Comparative benchmarks ➡️ Fuel Consumption Fuel consumption must be optimised to get the most out of your onsite fuel dispensing. This relates heavily to the previously discussed drivers’ actions but will also be affected by a lack of planning. Most fleets will use GPS telematics to create and track the most efficient journeys for their drivers to their destinations. These navigation systems will adapt to unexpected events, such as congestion or diversions, to keep your vehicles within expected deadlines and use less fuel. • Trailers are valuable assets that require minimal maintenance and can last for many years. Often left unattended in open spaces or yards, they are susceptible to damage and theft if not properly monitored. To safeguard your trailers, it's crucial to invest in a reliable tracking system. A trailer tracker enables remote monitoring, providing peace of mind. However, when selecting a trailer tracker, it's important to choose one that aligns with your specific business needs. Here are the key features to look for: 1. Comprehensive Display Ensure that your GPS monitoring system offers a comprehensive view, allowing you to track all your trailers on a single screen, complete with location history. 2. Long Battery Life Since trailers don’t require regular maintenance like cars, trucks, or tractors, GPS tracking devices tend to stay in place for extended periods. Therefore, it’s essential to have a durable battery that can last for years without frequent replacements. 3. Robust Durability The tracking equipment should be built to endure harsh conditions, including shaking, tampering, and inclement weather. The longevity and reliability of the GPS tracker depend heavily on its durability. 4. Timely and Accurate Information In many situations, you may not have immediate access to your trailers, especially if they are located in different cities or countries. A high-quality trailer tracking system will consistently provide precise information, ensuring you’re always informed. 5. Regular System Updates If a trailer is hijacked or moved to an unauthorized location, the sooner you’re aware of it, the faster you can act. Choose a system that sends heartbeat signals at least every 24 hours and offers on-demand updates through a reliable platform. 6. Alerts and Notifications It’s important to receive alerts whenever a trailer moves unexpectedly or during off-hours. A dependable GPS trailer tracking system will provide timely movement alerts, off-hour notifications, and power disconnect warnings, notifying you immediately when the trailer has been unplugged from its power source. Where Can You Find Top-Quality & Reliable Trailer Trackers in Australia? When it comes to securing your valuable trailers, finding a top-quality and reliable trailer tracker is essential. In Australia, one of the leading providers of cutting-edge GPS tracking solutions is My-Fleet. My-Fleet offers a range of advanced trailer tracking systems designed to meet the unique needs of your business. Their products are known for durability, long battery life, real-time updates, and seamless network compatibility, ensuring your assets are always under watch, no matter where they are. • Why Don’t I just use Samsung or Apple Tags to Track 👉 Samsung SmartTag. It will work with only the Samsung Galaxy devices. You will get a range distance of around about 100 metres. You will need to have your Galaxy device within that range to be able to locate that item 👉 Apple Air Tag. It will only communicate via other Apple Phones in the area (usually within 120 meters or less.) If there are not any Apple phones for it to connect to and use for the update, you will only get the last known location. If your asset or item is not within this limited range, you will need to be able to see your item. 🌐 Both of the above systems utilise a Blue Tooth or BLE system to send their location via other devices in their proximity. GPS TRACKING system you get by utilising an installed LTE- device that comes with a platform that will provide all the additional information you need. Yes, this is the more expensive of the 3 types of devices, but you get what you pay for. 🌎 If you need to know the location of an asset anywhere in the Country or even Internationally then you will need this third option. The Bluetooth options are ok for lower cost items or confined to an area that has frequent use of mobile users.
