Last week, our Heritage team had the privilege of attending the Victorian Archaeology Colloquium, where we connected with Traditional Owners, heritage practitioners, and academics, sharing valuable insights into Victoria's rich archaeological landscape. Coming together with colleagues and friends in the heritage sector reminds us why we're so passionate about this work, with each presentation strengthening the way we honour and protect diverse histories. At the same time, we're excited to welcome two new team members! Nil Muhaffel joined us last week, and Genevieve Polic starts today. With their expertise, our growing team is even better equipped to help clients navigate heritage complexities with care, collaboration, and deep respect for the past. At Nation Partners, we're catalysts for positive change, and our Environmental Advisors are integral to this mission, delivering strategic environmental solutions that make a real difference. It’s been a big year at Nation Partners. We've expanded our capabilities and established a presence in Queensland, working across diverse industries on purposeful projects that drive positive change.  Our commitment to being catalysts for change continues through our B Lab Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand certification and Climate Active membership, proudly supporting initiatives like the Aboriginal Carbon Foundation's cultural burning project in the Northern Territory.

 2024 saw us strengthen our industry engagement through active participation in forums with Australasian Land & Groundwater Association (ALGA), VicWater, Smart Energy Council, Gippsland New Energy Conference, Australian Offshore Wins Association and ACLCA, as well as joining important conversations at the Global Nature Positive Summit 2024.

 As we face the environmental and social challenges ahead, we're encouraged that our work is making a difference. We embrace our responsibility to shift perspectives and demonstrate how business can be a powerful force for good in creating a more sustainable world.

 We're reimagining our Giving Fund, recognising that our commitment to directing 4% of profits to climate action can create even greater impact through collaboration and collective action. While we focus on driving change at scale, we also celebrate local initiatives, like planting 2,000 trees in Altona for the 'More Trees for a Cooler, Greener West' program.
