Pleasure to be at the Neurosurgical Society of Australia annual meeting in Darwin. This year at our booth we decided to do some morning and afternoon tea presentations on IONM techniques in Neurosurgery. This morning I presented on optimising facial nerve monitoring in acoustic neuroma and CPA tumours , looking at Triggered emg waveform analysis, Facial MEP and the addition of blink reflex. Tomorrow at morning tea we are exploring D-Waves, Dorsal Column Mapping and Intramedullary Corticospinal stimulation. afternoon tea Cortical and Subcortical motor mapping.
