The community-based Enhancing Northern Waterways Advisory Group toured McDonalds Swamp and Gunbower Forest's Barapa Swamp last week. Members discussed the water for environment program, checked out the outcomes of recent watering, and got the lowdown on the latest waterbird monitoring. Community groups such as this play an important role in providing feedback to our programs and ensuring locals have a say on how they are run.
