Earlier this week we gathered in the park for a family fun day to give out some early Christmas presents for the Northlane Consulting Engineers kids (and hopefully future engineers).   As this year comes to a close, from our Northlane family to yours, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 🌟 Here’s to a joyful holiday season and an even brighter 2025 ahead.

This month we’re proud to be sponsoring the Order of the Outback Ball held by the Burke Shire Council, celebrating the Order of the Outback award! Dating back to the 1980s, this award is presented to the individuals or organisations that enrich the lives of people in the outback through either volunteer or paid service. It’s a worthy event of delicious food, music, live entertainment, and bar services to celebrate this prestigious award!

To address the considerable flood damage caused by the heavy rainfall events of 2023 we completed a vital culvert replacement at 363 Upper Pinbarren Creek Road. This project was part of a larger initiative to upgrade stormwater infrastructure throughout the Noose Shire, in partnership with QRA and Noosa Shire Council.

We’re thrilled to announce that we are one of the official sponsors for the Burketown Campdraft 2024! From the 19th to the 21st of July, the Burketown Rodeo & Sporting Association is bringing the community together to put on a great show. We’re proud to support local events like this, where we can give back to the community. Make sure to head on over for an action-packed weekend of camaraderie and celebration if you’re in the area!

🌟 Wells Rd, Maleny Causeway Upgrade 🌟 In partnership with the Sunshine Coast Council, we replaced the existing low-level causeway on Wells Road that had reached the end of its life and was causing ongoing maintenance issues. We undertook an options analysis for the rectification works that included an assessment of the Accepted Development requirements. Our design raised the causeway with box culverts in compliance with current DAF standards, and reduced vegetation clearing where possible.

Last December we completed a range of stormwater infrastructure replacements throughout the Noosa Shire. This included a critical culvert replacement on Schreibers Road to repair substantial flood damage that occurred during the intense rainfall events in 2023. Another project successfully completed in collaboration with QRA and Noosa Shire Council.
