Wrapped up the final week of the Marketing Week Mini MBA with Mark Ritson and celebrated with a pint and brand that featured heavily throughout. Having built Talent functions from the ground up in #startups, the challenges of doing more with less mean marketing, branding, and attracting top talent often blend together. So it was refreshing to see how this could be approached from a different lens to People & Talent, with fresh ideas for building a strong employer brand and crafting an #EVP that really resonates. Key Takeaways 👇 👉 Customer-Centric Approach: Amazon customer obsession is highlighted throughout; the “humility of marketing” also hitting home; having to let go of your own biases when crafting your brand. 👉 Positioning: A lot of parallels with employer brand in this section; “find out who you are, and do it on purpose”. Some great examples of brands that have nailed EVP such as Pret A Manger and Dove. 👉 Segmentation: I really enjoyed this module; especially when thinking about demographic segmentation and social cohesion. In Talent we often rely on demographic data; but this has opened my eyes to challenging this and not relying on overly simplistic segmentation. 👉 Product: You could argue the "product" in talent acquisition is ultimately the role the company is hiring for. I loved the “Jobs to be done” framework and how this can be used; for anyone who hasn’t heard of it look it up. Workarounds = opportunity. The course is targeted towards marketing pro’s; but it has really helped me in taking a different approach to employer branding and I would highly recommend it. As for the #Guinness in the Devonshire; it's good but not the best in London for me 🍻 #EVP #talentacquisition #employerbrand #minimbamarketing #cpd

As 2024 comes to a close, we want to take a moment to thank our staff, clients, and suppliers for their support and dedication throughout the year. It’s been a year of hard work, collaboration, and achievements that we’re incredibly proud of. This year, we successfully completed a range of projects across Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, New Zealand, Vietnam and Singapore. From installing Tote Conveyors to decommissioning buildings, fitting out mezzanines, an AutoStore installation, commercial fitout for fulfilment centres and delivery stations, and guardrail installations – the variety and scope of work we’ve delivered is testament to the skill and commitment of our team. 2024 wasn’t just about the work we delivered; it was also about the moments that brought us together. Last week, the staff gathered for a weekend to plan for 2025, refresh knowledge around safety and key aspects of the services we offer. It was also a great opportunity for team building and to celebrate the achievements of 2024. This year we took part in World Clean Up Day, rolling up our sleeves for a good cause. We also joined the One Foot Forward campaign to raise funds for the Black Dog Institute. These moments remind us of the power of coming together to make a difference beyond the workplace. Looking back, it’s clear that none of this would have been possible without the incredible team we have at NPSG Australia. The hard work, expertise, and passion is what drives our success.
