Seven-time Australian Netball Premiers 🏆 Contesting Suncorp Super Netball Leaders of Women | Leaders in Sport BIO: Founded as the Sydney Swifts in 1997 before rebranding as the NSW Swifts in 2008, the Swifts are New South Wales' most celebrated professional female sports team. Pioneers of women in sport for almost three decades, the Club is home to some of netball’s greatest ever players, past and present. From former Club greats Liz Ellis AO, Catherine Cox AM and Kim Green OAM, to the current champions such as Paige Hadley, Sam Wallace and Maddy Proud, the Swifts are proud to be Inspired By History, Driven By Legacy. Always at the forefront of Australian sport, the Swifts are also passionate about championing netball – the team sport which has always championed women and girls, and given them an opportunity to shine for almost 100 years.
