Nufarm is excited to announce its latest innovation partnership with Chinese agricultural biotechnology innovation company, KingAgroot 清原农冠. This partnership will see Nufarm Australia work to obtain registration of the KingAgroot developed molecule, Flufenoximacil, for the Australian market as a new broad spectrum, non-selective herbicide as a stand-alone knockdown. Our agreement with KingAgroot is very exciting for the Australian agricultural industry as we can now work through the process of trials and evaluation with an end goal of registration for use in Australia, expected before the end of this decade. Today we announced our 2024 full year results showing earnings at midpoint of guidance with significant improvements in working capital and debt. Nufarm Managing Director and CEO, Greg Hunt, said “Despite a challenging market, Nufarm delivered a solid result for FY24. We reduced net working capital by 30% and net debt by 25%. Our balance sheet position is strong.
