In late October and early November, Jason (Opal BNE) and Hengky (Opal SYD) traveled to West Java to visit several coffee farms, with the goal of developing a sustainable and long-term buying plan. Established in 2005, Wahana Estate is one of the largest private coffee estates in Indonesia that spans across almost 500ha of land in Sidikalang, Toba Region, North Sumatra, with a coffee processing area of 10ha. The estate has a Corporate Social Responsibility Program that provides farmers with a support center, workers housing, and free health care, to name a few.
