We added a new position in PWR Holdings Ltd in the Oracle Investment Management Emerging Companies Portfolio. Founded in 1997, investing in a new segment of the automotive cooling market, PWR today provides high performance aluminium radiators, intercoolers and oil coolers for race cooling solutions to leading race categories and is recognised as a world leader in high performance cooling. PWR Holdings is recognised as one of the highest-quality companies in the Small Ords index. We have monitored its performance for many years, and its shares have consistently traded at a premium valuation. While the stock is still not inexpensive, the valuation has recently eased as the company embarks on an investment cycle to upgrade its facilities and increase capacity for future growth. This investment has resulted in reduced profits for FY24, and subdued performance is expected to continue into FY25. We added a new position in Light & Wonder in the Oracle Emerging Companies Portfolio. The company traces its history in 1917 to Autotote. In 2000, Autotote bought Scientific Games Holdings Corp., a maker of instant lottery equipment, which was ultimately re-branded to Light & Wonder in March 2022. Light and Wonder recently reduced its debt by selling its lottery and sports betting businesses, now focusing solely on physical and online slot machines. With new management, largely composed of former Aristocrat executives, the company has shifted from a sales-driven to a Research and development-focused strategy, similar to Aristocrat's path to global leadership. We believe LNW is in a strong position to capture market share, enhancing its second-place standing behind Aristocrat.
